My story: Andrew Snyder
I called the tobacco hotline in March of 2008, and set a quit date of april 13. So on Apr. 13 2008 I quit smoking. How did that go? The first week I chewed 40 pieces of nicotine gum. By the end of the week the gum tasted like an ashtray! Since then I have not had a single craving. People can smoke around me I don't even smell it. I didn't gain weight, I didn't have to find something to do with my hands, and I didn't cough up nasty stuff. Why the big change you ask? After 35 years of smoking and having tried to quit every way but Sunday(pun intended), why this time? I gave the problem to God. If nothing else works for you maybe you can try my method. My prayers are with you.
