March 9, 2010 One year ago today, I was not feeling well at all. I was taken to the hospital and it is good thing I went. I was expecting them to check me over and send me home telling me I had the flu bug. Instead the nurse left the room only to reenter with alot of help. It was then I was told by the Doctor that I was having a heart attach........6 days later I was having open heart surgery. I always knew smoking was not good for me, yet I chose to continue doing it. I tried quiting several times before and nothing worked. Today I can honestly say to you that I have not smoked a cigarette in 1 year. Has it been easy......heck no!!!! What makes it easier for me is remembering the pain of having my chest openend up!!!! I hope I never feel pain like that again. That is why every one should quit smoking!!!!!!
